Carolina Kia Takada, a visionary Brazilian entrepreneur and social business specialist, is a force to be reckoned with in the world of innovation and team management. Her commitment to empowering young leaders and spreading powerful ideas led her to become a TEDx organizer and Liaison of Singularity University's Women's Impact Network.

In addition, Carolina's global perspective and cultural adaptability stem from her extensive travel experiences. Born in the small city of Indaiatuba, São Paulo, she has lived in numerous cities across Brazil due to her consultancy background. Moreover, she has had the privilege of residing in Germany, France, and Portugal in recent years, gaining insights that have shaped her entrepreneurial journey.

Hailing from a supportive family, Carolina was instilled with a passion for making a positive impact from an early age. Encouraged by her family to pursue her dreams, she immersed herself in volunteer communities such as Rotary International, Junior Enterprise Movement, AIESEC, Conscious Capitalism, and TEDx. Carolina's educational background further refined her approach to entrepreneurship and leadership. She holds a degree in Business Management from the esteemed University of São Paulo, specializing in Social Business from the Yunus Social Business Centre, and is a certified Yoga and Mindfulness Instructor from the ÍsvaraInstitute.

“My journey as an entrepreneur has been driven by a deep passion for creating meaningful change and fostering life-centric approaches to work,” Carolina explains. “It all started with the founding of weme, where we aimed to empower businesses to enhance experiences and improve people's lives through digital products and services. While working closely with different teams, we realized that there was a significant gap in how teams were managed and how work was experienced. One of my biggest strengths is to know amazing people and be able to inspire them with a vision about healthier workplaces.
